Hello. Growing up in a small town near Alicante, I didn't know what to expect when I accepted a job teaching Spanish in a small high school in Massachusetts. It was a whole new world and a tremendous experience. The two years I spent there helped me to understand the world, and myself, a bit better. Life in the U.S. is very different from life here, as you will soon find out.

After two years in the U.S., I returned to Spain to do a Masters in teaching Spanish, which is how I ended up in Barcelona along with my American husband.

I think you've chosen a great place to study. The diversity of things to see and do in Spain is absolutely incredible. Barcelona is easily one of the most beautiful cities in the world and places of natural beauty, such as the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava, are just a short trip away. If you have the time to travel around Spain, you won't want to miss Salamanca, Sevilla, Madrid, and my favorite city, Granada.
