Nieves Borrego

Although I was born in Miranda de Ebro (Burgos), I have spent many years away from my hometown. When I was 18, I went to Salamanca in order to study Hispanic Philology there. But before I finished my degree I went to Birmingham (Great Britain) to study for one year. Then I was 20 and I remember that experience like one of the best times of my whole life. It was not just an academic experience as I thought at the beginning, but a personal experience that changed my vision of everything and helped me to open my mind.

I enjoyed so much that time that after I came back to Salamanca and finished my degree, I decided to move again. This time I went to the USA to do my graduate studies and to discover other way to see the world. I have been there for three years and now I can say that this has been again other great experience that has showed me many things about the world, the people and myself. Now I live in Barcelona and I hope you also enjoy your stay here. I wish when you came back home you carry with you good memories of the city and also you remember this time as one of the best experiences of your life.
