Hi, there! My name is Maria and I have been teaching at IES for several years now. I also have previous experience
teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University level. When I finished my studies at the
University of Barcelona, Spanish Philology, I went to the Czech Republic, where I taught at the University of Southern Bohemia
for three years, as well as in an international secondary school. Then I headed to the States,
where I taught for another three years at the University of Georgia go Bulldogs! While I was working for the
UGA I had the chance of coming to Spain, Cádiz and Valencia, with some groups of students from the states, so
I can understand very well what may you go through while living here, so if you feel homesick or just need to
