Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Barcelona. I'm a relative newcomer to Barcelona myself, I arrived in February 2004. In this short time I have been very impressed with the city and Catalunya in general and I hope you will be too. A surprise awaits you around every corner...

I grew up in Northern Ireland, but moved to Dublin to study Psychology in Trinity College. When I finished my degree I spent a year in Madrid, where I got my first taste of the Spanish language and lifestyle. A few years later I moved to Malawi, a small but wonderful country in Africa, where I spent two and a half years doing the fieldwork for my Ph.D. thesis, learning the local language (chiTumbuka), and discovering scuba diving. And now here I am in Barcelona, enjoying the mediterrian lifestyle, learning Catalan, and teaching cross cultural psychology in a city where truly many cultures cross.
