Javier Pardo

Hello Everyone! Here's a short introduction to you future Spanish teacher. My name is Javier Pardo and I'm currently doing my Master's in Training Teachers of Spanish as a Second Language at Barcelona University, where I also got my undergraduate degree in Spanish Philology two years ago. Since then I've been teaching Spanish all round the world; first of all, in Barcelona, in various language schools for international students spending time in Barcelona learning Spanish and getting to know the city; then in a town in the north of the Netherlands teaching teenagers; and last but by no means in least, in a school right in the heart of Manhattan, New York, teaching US students who wanted to travel to Spain and Latin America. My time in New York changed my life: I discovered new cultures, new ways of life, another world.

So, back again in Barcelona, one of my favorite cities and the place where I was born and bred. Do you want to get to know it? If so, then what better excuse for coming here than to learn Spanish and to get to know our culture? There's the art, the food, the music, the literature and much, much more.
