I was born in Venezuela from European parents. I did my undergraduate degree in Berkeley, California, my Ph.D. in England and later obtained a MBA in Venezuela.
I went from being a pure scientist (molecular biology) to working on the field of business and economics. My research involves information, knowledge
and innovation development as well as the promotion of entrepreneurship. I have lived in many different places, worked both for industry and academia in
the US, Latin America and Europe and have travelled extensively. I am now living in Barcelona and love it. It is a great place, wonderful people, nice weather,
and beautiful architecture among its many qualities.
