Chris Kennett is an experienced lecturer and researcher in the field of business studies, specialising in sports studies and management.
Chris obtained his undergraduate degree and PhD from Loughborough University (UK), as well as a postgraduate diploma in Olympic Studies from the
International Olympic Academy (Greece). After completing his PhD Chris became head of research and training at the Olympic Studies Centre of the
Univesitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2002 and has worked on a series of international research projects, collaborating closely with the International
Olympic Committee.
Chris has published books and journal articles in the field of sports management and sports studies, as well as presenting regularly at international
academic conferences. Currently Chris' research interests focus on sport and social integration, and Olympic Studies. Since 2000, Chris has lectured on
several business studies degree programmes in Barcelona at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and is currently an associate professor at the Universitat
Autonoma de Barcelona, as well as academic advisor and lecturer on the La Salle Universities International Programme (Barcelona Campus).
