My name is Beth Kuhnlein and I am from Detroit, Michigan. I did my undergraduate studies at Holy Cross in Massachusetts. I started off as a pre-med major
but somehow and somewhere along the line I became a German major. I suppose it was in search of my roots, which was fashionable at the time, and in my
Junior Year Abroad I landed in Munich, Germany and suddenly my world opened to new and very exciting cross-cultural experiences.
Since then I have lived, loved and learned wonderful things in Europe. I have travelled throughout Europe and Scandinavia. I have worked in Germany, Switzerland,
Brussels and London and I have spent most of the last 20 some years in Barcelona. I've learned to speak German, Spanish, Catalan, and some Italian
and together with my high school French I am able to manage.
During these last 20 years I have worked most of the time at a major business school here in BCN in language, communication and management skills. I
am presently doing my PhD in intercultural management at the University Ramon Llull.
