Grade Appeals

Grade appeals may be considered in cases where students can document that the grade awarded for a course is not indicative of the actual level of performance in that course. Please be aware that, except in highly unusual circumstances, the only person who can change the grade you received in a course is the Professor who taught the course.

Under no circumstances can students communicate directly with professors regarding grades. Everything you include in the grade appeal form will be forwarded by the IES Barcelona Director to the Professor of the course.

If you wish to file an appeal, please download and submit the following form within 60 days of the release of your transcripts from the IES Chicago office:
