Field Studies at IES

IES Barcelona´s field studies take learning out of the classroom and offer new opportunities to learn which cannot be found in a library or textbook.

All field studies are mandatory for every IES Barcelona course. It is very important that when registering for your IES Barcelona courses you take note of all field study dates, as you will be required to attend them. From Monday April 3rd you can check Summer field study dates through the link below.

There are three types of field studies:

• Self Guided Tours: Get to know Barcelona - in your own time.
• Classes on-site: Professor led visits during normal class hours.
• Day trips: These field studies last one full day or half day.
