I moved to Barcelona in 1989 after having studied architecture at New York's Columbia University and spending some years practicing architecture
in big offices. My intention was to stay here for a year and work on some of the Olympic projects. But I fell in love with the city, lost track of
time and have been here ever since.
During my years here, I have collaborated on diverse types of projects, all related to architecture and urbanism.
I coordinated architecture exhibitions at the MACBA, Barcelona's Museum of Contemporary Art and the CCCB, the Center of Contemporary Culture;
I've written two guide books on the city's buildings and urban projects and I teach in diverse international and local programs. I am also in practice with
a landscape architect and planner and we deal with small scale projects and large scale sustainable development issues. I use any free time to travel and to
read novels. I think that Barcelona is an exciting place to live and study, and personally, I am still fascinated by the life on the streets.
