Bienvenidos / Benvinguts a Barcelona!

I was born in Madrid, the capital of Spain, where I also lived and studied. Ever since I was very young I was dreaming about long trips around the world and I wanted to know many differents cultures. I like as well cinema and literature and I decided to study Spanish literature.

I fell in love with Italy and in my fourth year of degree I went to Rome as an Erasmus student to discover the country. It was an special year in my life. Walking around Coliseum, Piazza Spagna, Piazza Navona... was so wonderful!

When I finished my degree I knew I wanted to teach Spanish as a foreign language and I started working for a small school in Madrid. After some time, I left for the USA to teach Spanish. It was an important decision in my life. I had always wanted to go to U.S (maybe because I love American movies.) There, I lived in Lexington (Virginia). I taught Spanish language in Washington and Lee University. It was a great experience!

Now I have been living in Barcelona since 2002, I like the city and its people so much! Living close to the sea is very important to me, because I always feel better when I can see it.

Now our course starts and...I hope you enjoy it a lot!!!!
