Josep M. Llop

Born in la Palma de Cervelló, a small town close to Barcelona in 1963, studied Law in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, obtained his MBA at the Loobin Graduate School of Business (Pace University in NYC) and has worked as an attorney in Spain and in Marketing for some Spanish and small US firms. At the professional level, his main two objectives are to work in the academic field by contributing to the process of fostering awareness on the importance of globalization within the European context, coupled, with the encouragement of entrepreneurial vision to corporate public governance.

At the most personal level, the ethical value of shared responsibility for those individuals who are excluded from the technological and cultural evolvement processes, are a driving force of commitment and dedication.

Finally, for any society to create wealth, to be sustainable and to enjoy long-term survival, I do believe that its main cell, the family, needs to be reinforced and adapted to today's needs by means of a carefully designed thorough and thoughtful process.
