Isabel Sanchez

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I got my Architecture degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Later, in 1978, I was awarded with a scholarship to attend my MA at the Royal College of Arts in London. Living in London was a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Life took me to live in other cities and cultures that widened my views: Mexico City, St. Louis and Barcelona. Barcelona has now become my home. I love cities and have spent good part of my life visiting icon cities like New York, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Venice, Prague and Paris, as well as charming and interesting ones like Cambridge, Villa de Leiva or Marrakech.

I have been teaching Architectural and urban design in Venezuela in project studios and other courses. I am very happy to be able to teach here, because I love teaching, and being able to share my experiences on different urban environments with you, in this wise city, will be a privilege.
